With 22 General
Electric U28B 2800 HP Locomotives on it's roster, the U28B becomes an
essential part of any P&LE modeler's layout circa 1966 or later. Using
a production run model by Stewart, Steve Raque explains his technique
for modifying and detailing, so that the end result appears more prototypical
of those units of the 1970 era. He also shows an interesting approach
to modeling the locomotive's internal radiator fans and points out the
differences between the model and the actual locomotive. |
