The Little Giant's GIANT 0-8-8-0's

The 9090 and the 9091 were the only 4 cylinder articulated steamers the P&LE ever rostered. Unlike its neighboring roads, the P&LE did not have long steep grades which required heavy engines like these mallets. So what prompted The Little Giant to acquire them? Learn why the P&LE had these NU-1B class Mallets and how they truly lived up to their status as GIANT.
